Happy Hips: Hip Mobility and Restoration

Join us for Happy Hips, a restorative movement class designed to release deep-seated tension in the lumbar spine, pelvis, and hips. With many of us spending long hours sitting, stiffness can build up, leading to restricted mobility, joint discomfort, and muscle fatigue. This class offers a gentle, structured approach to improving flexibility, mobility, and overall well-being.

What to Expect in Class

In this slow-paced, restorative session, we will focus on:
Deep tissue release through long-held stretches and mindful movement
Targeted hip mobility exercises to increase range of motion and ease discomfort
Supportive props such as blocks, bolsters, and straps to assist in postures
A calming and intentional practice to reset the body and mind

Who Is This Class For?

This class is open to all levels—whether you’re an athlete looking to enhance performance, someone experiencing hip tightness from daily activities, or simply seeking gentle movement and relaxation. No prior experience is required!

What to Bring

  • Yoga mat
  • Water bottle
  • Any props you have (blocks, straps, bolsters)

While the website works great, we highly recommend using the Groovio app for a smoother experience. The app allows you to easily fill out waiver forms, chat with admin, connect with fellow students in your registered classes, and explore upcoming single-session and 6-week series options.
