Take your aerial practice to new heights—literally! This 6-week Aerial Hammock Drop Series is designed for upper-level students who are ready to explore the thrill and technique of aerial drops. You’ll learn how to safely wrap, stack, and execute controlled descents, adding dynamic and breathtaking movement to your aerial repertoire.
🔥 Prerequisites:
✔ Must have prior silks or hammock experience
✔ Must be comfortable with aerial inverts
✔ Long-sleeve shirt required for protection
Session A – Vertical Drops
Focus: Single-action vertical drops
In this first phase, students will learn fundamental drop mechanics, proper wrapping techniques, and how to control their descent safely. We will explore a variety of vertical drops, breaking down the transitions and entry points to ensure confidence in execution.

✅ Proper body positioning for clean, controlled falls

Session B – Rotational & Slack Drops
Focus: Rotational movement & slack-based drops
Building on the foundation from Session A, students will explore rotation, slack management, and speed control. These drops introduce elements of surprise and dynamic motion, requiring a strong sense of body awareness and preparation.

Bonus: Session C – Stacked Drops (Optional for those who complete both A & B)
